What We Do

We believe that great ideas can come from anyone. But more often than not, high school students are often disregarded from entrepreneurship and business. We want to change that.

Our goal is to encourage high school students to work on great ideas. Even more than that, we want students to actually make their ideas come to life. We're creating high energy events for students to come together, learn new ideas, and create the next big thing. Tell us about your great idea and win prizes to turn it into a reality.

How It Works

1. Submit 1 to 3 video pitches by March 4th (Our priority deadline is January 31st).

2. The top 3 videos will win cash scholarships.

3. The top half of the pitches will win tickets to the Startup High School entrepreneurial summit, and exciting weekend in Ann Arbor with tours, speakers, workshops, and more.

4. Summit attendees will also speak at a live pitch competition in front of a panel of judges for a chance to win up to $1000+.

FAQ

Who can pitch?
High school students! While the summit takes place in Michigan, everyone is encouraged to pitch.

What exactly am I pitching?
Any idea you have! We've had pitches about apps, coffee stores, phone cases, non profits and anything else you can think of. If you've got a great idea, we want to hear it!

How should I pitch?
Be creative and make your pitch stand out. But, be sure to clearly state your name, high school, and idea. Other successful pitches in the past have usually talked about why their idea is important and how they plan on making the idea a reality.

Why should I pitch?
Pitching gives you access to resources that can greatly accelerate your idea to becoming a reality. The best pitches will be invited to our summit where you'll have access to mentors, workshops, prizes, and tours. Whether your idea is an app, company, food product, or new type of shoe, we'll help you make it real.

What do I get for winning?
You'll walk away with something to show for your idea, great resources, a new vision of entrepreneurship, and potentially some extra cash.

What do I need to pitch?
Just an idea! This competition is totally free.
